To thoroughly implement the "Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Deepening the Reform of the Industrial Workers' Team Building" and to carry out the work arrangements of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18th Executive Committee of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, focusing on the requirements of the "15th Five-Year Plan" for the high-end, intelligent, and green development of the textile industry, the 9th Textile Industry Technical Assistance to Xinjiang and "Model Workers and Craftsmen Helping Enterprises" activity, hosted by the China National Textile, Light Industry and Tobacco Trade Union and organized by the Xinjiang Textile and Garment Industry Trade Union, was held in Hotan and Kashgar from June 14th to 18th. The activity, themed "Striving for the '15th Five-Year Plan' and Creating a New Situation through Practical Work," brought together leaders of textile industry trade unions from Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Shandong, model workers, craftsmen, and industry experts to go to the front lines in southern Xinjiang, accurately address the technical needs of enterprises, and build a bridge for industrial cooperation between the east and west.

This activity covered more than 20 key textile enterprises in the Hotan Beijing Industrial Park, Lop County Industrial Park, and Kashgar Central Asia and South Asia Industrial Park, reaching nearly 3,000 employees. A team of experts worked tirelessly on-site at the company, focusing on addressing production bottlenecks such as spinning processes, fabric quality control, equipment maintenance, and new material applications. They tackled various practical problems in the workshops and simultaneously conducted specialized training for the company's technical backbone.

On the afternoon of June 16th, the "Chinese Dream, Labor Beauty" National Workers' Lecture Group's Specialized Sub-group for the Finance, Trade, Textile, and Tobacco Industries launched its ninth technical assistance program for Xinjiang at the Kashgar Central Asia-South Asia Industrial Park. A representative from the China Finance, Trade, Textile, and Tobacco Trade Union attended and delivered a mobilization speech, proposing to coordinate ideological guidance with skills assistance, dynamically understand the technical needs of enterprises, expand online training channels through the "Trade Union Gold Collar Academy," provide assistance through a combination of online and offline methods with model workers and craftsmen, deepen the reform of the industrial workforce, improve the skills training and labor relations mediation mechanisms for ethnic minority workers, and forge a high-quality textile industry workforce.

At the launch ceremony, the industrial trade unions of Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Shandong signed a long-term cooperation agreement with the textile and garment industry trade union of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. This agreement incorporates local model worker innovation studios into the National Textile Industry Model Worker and Craftsman Innovation Studio Alliance, establishing a long-term cooperation mechanism of "regional trade union linkage and collaborative support, and pairing assistance between innovation studios." During the lectures, Amanguli Aizezi, recipient of the Xinjiang Development Medal, and Wang Dan, recipient of the National May 1st Labor Medal, shared their stories of frontline struggle. Deng Jianjun, a national model worker, and Guo Zhanjun, deputy secretary-general of the China Cotton Textile Industry Association, gave special lectures on industrial upgrading and advanced textile technology, answering questions with practical examples, comprehensively promoting the spirit of model workers, the spirit of labor, and the spirit of craftsmanship. More than 300 people, including employees of companies in the industrial park and students from the textile and garment department of local vocational schools, listened to the lectures. During the event, the research team simultaneously conducted a special survey on the "three vehicles and two staff" (referring to workers in three different industries and two different roles) of the newly employed group, visited Tianshan Wool Textile Co., Ltd., and provided cooling relief to frontline workers, effectively delivering the Party's care and concern to them.
